I see it as a debilitating condition, and the particular circumstances of a mission, fraught with “triggers”, can be less than helpful to many people, I imagine. Not unlike how someone with a heretofore undiscovered nut allergy encounters unforeseen problems while working on a peanut farm.
There are other places to work, other ways to serve.
